Places to have a Dream Wedding

This list is not meant to be definitive, but to get you thinking of places other than just a traditional church setting. Many of the above could be combined together. For instance you could have your wedding ceremony at a lakeside ON a ranch, or beach ON an island. These places could also be near where you live, in or near your hometown, or they could be anywhere else in the world for a destination wedding (assuming the travel there fits into your wedding budget).
When it comes to choosing the location for your wedding you have to decide a few things first. Do you want a traditional church wedding or something more unique? Do you want an indoor or outdoor wedding? Do you want to be married locally or do you want a more exotic location? Once you answer these questions it will help you decide where you want to have your wedding ceremony.

Here are a few ideas to get you thinking of places you may want to have your ceremony:

  1. In your hometown
  2. At the place you met
  3. A Destination – a place other than where you live now or your hometown
  4. Revolving Restaurant – at the top of a skyscraper, like the Seattle Space Needle
  5. City Museum or park
  6. Bed and Breakfast Inn
  7. Country Inn
  8. Farm or Ranch
  9. On Horseback – for equestrians
  10. Vineyard
  11. In the Mountains
  12. Lakeside
  13. Beach – Anytime of day can work but usually at Sunrise or Sunset
  14. On an Island – Bahamas, Tahiti, etc.
  15. At Sea aboard a Yacht – motor or sailing
  16. Underwater - Scuba Diving or snorkeling
  17. Sky Diving – For the adventurous types
  18. Theme Park – Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc.
  19. Exotic Location – Stonehenge, Grand Canyon, etc.
  20. Las Vegas
  21. Historic Fort or National/State Park

Wedding is a ceremony that celebrates the beginning of a marriage. Wedding traditions and customs very greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. In some countries, cultures and religions, jewellery the actual act of marriage begins during the wedding ceremony. In others, the legal act of marriage occurs at the time of signing a marriage license or other legal document, and the wedding is then an opportunity to perform a traditional ceremony and celebrate with friends and family.
