Beautiful Wedding Cake : Caterer
After the Wedding Cake cutting ceremony, the cake and table can be moved and the floor can be used for dancing. It will also be a great cue to announce the first dance of the newly married. Have your best man clean the floor and get rid of all the icing that might have dropped to the floor, because it can become very slippery and also dangerous. You might also decide to place the cake in the corner with pin lights highlighting the cake’s glory.

Just as the queen sits on her throne, the wedding cake needs the same to hold its creation. Think of a beautiful frame around a painting, you should decorate the wedding cake table to complement its wonderful confection. You don’t have to spend endless hours decorating the table for the wedding cake and it also doesn’t have to be expensive. Something in the back of your cupboard might be appropriate enough. Take a lace cloth, for example; drape it across the table and there you have it. When you billow tulle on the table and place the cake on top of it, what do you end up with? You get the impression that your wedding cake is floating on clouds.

Perfect Winter Wedding
You want your wedding to be unique don’t you? Then why not have a winter wedding? Rain is just as beautiful as sunshine, the only difference is the temperature of the outdoors and that it would have to be inside of course. If you want to be more creative with your winter wedding, you can customize the dinner menu to compliment your theme. Serve the food how you want to, but the starters can be a traditional delicious soup, while the main coarse meal can be anything “meaty” (remember that it will be winter and hot foods should be consumed during this time), and then for dessert, Vanilla pudding or custard, pumpkin pie or cinnamon apple are all great ideas. You will not have an option to choose from every flower as it is winter, but there will be many available. The recommended flowers for floral arrangements for a winter wedding are roses of any color, lilies, amaryllis and poinsettias. You can decide on where and how to arrange the flowers as it really isn’t a big issue, as long as it is relevant to the occasion it should be fine.
The decorations that should be used is one of the most important aspects of a winter wedding. Among the colors that should be used are, purple, navy, and green, but these are more like Christmas colors, so you might want to go for something more along the lines of white, ice blue, powder blue, sapphire blue and silver. It is most likely going to be a bit chilly, so for some warmth and added relaxation, candles will do a great job. It also helps to the “romantic” side of the wedding; candles are the most romantic to use for a wedding!
When it comes to the decoration of the tables, a few great ideas are; you can put ribbons and snowflake ornaments on the food tables, or if you can even have them hanging from the ceiling if it’s not too high. The snowballs will look great hanging down from the ceiling and would greatly compliment your theme. You can decide on the colors of all these as you know what the recommended colors are. You can even have the decorations somewhat resemble the clothing of the people participating in the ceremony. Winter is the least common season for a couple to say “I Do”, while summer is the most common season for a wedding to take place, but why be like everyone else?
For a winter wedding, you should have a short list of guests; just your closest friends and family will be fine. This will add to the theme and you can have it at a smallish location to provide that close, cozy and warm feeling.

Wedding Cake Decoration not Weddong
Chateau decided to be very bold. make a small traditional fondant cake as "the wedding cake". For each dining table, instead of using floral arrangements, Morgan designed individual cakes using fondant and rolled white chocolate (some she colored)shaped into woven baskets containing hand sculpted, edible grapes and grape leaves with a small bottle of champagne wrapped partially in similar fondant or rolled chocolate. After the bride and groom cut THEIR cake and posed for photographs, to the amazement of the guests, a waiter removed the table centerpieces, set them onto serving carts next to each table and began cutting and serving the centerpieces! So realistic were the "basket of grapes and leaves" that the guests did not realize it was dessert!
Caketops and Cake Decorations:
Stay away from those ugly white plastic columns (or have the pastry chef cover them with icing)
Instead of the cheap looking plastic and tulle bride and groom
caketop, use fresh flowers, pastry molded and shaped flowers, an elegant Lladro statue, a favorite momento that is precious to the bride and groom. Or, if you or someone close saves "collectibles", consider borrowing a favorite piece or add or start your own collection with your caketop.
Be creative:
Two of my clients had met on a back-packing excursion and began making back-packing trips together. In addition to the wedding cake, we had a groom's cake. The pastry chef created a "hillside forest" with blue food coloring to give the semblance of a stream running through the woods. Ken and Barbie dolls were costumed in back-packing and hiking attire and placed on one of the "trails" of the cake. Another couple had met in a hot-tub (I don't ask too many questions). The groom built a miniature hot tub with a working pump and bubbling water. The wedding cake was created around the "hot-tub" in the center of the top tier. Ken and Barbie were this time outfitted in bathing suits and sat as if relaxing in a whirpool of water bubbling around them.
A favorite of my creative but tasteful cake ideas had to do with the attendants' gifts. The theme of the wedding was art deco, black and white. A specially designed simple zebra striped cake was ordered for the rehearsal dinner. We had the cake designer make rolled chocolate boxes with lids that could be removed. The actual gifts were elegantly wrapped and then placed each in a chocolate box. The pastry chef finished the box by creating lovely rolled chocolate ribbons and bows wrapped around the lid and box. They were then painted in lovely pastels. After the rehearsal dinner, the waiters brought each box on a dessert plate and placed it in front of the attendant. Everyone gushed, oohed and ahhed. The bride's and groom's eyes twinkled mischievously as the guests began to cut into the dessert with their forks, only to find that as they peeled back the
covering, inside was the wrapped gift. Everyone got such merriment at the surprize. I've since called the idea, "Having your cake and eating it too!"
